Preliminary versions of the PIRATA mooring high resolution data are available for

There are 5 files per mooring:

Met file contains 10-minute wind components, air temperature and relative humidity.  
	Units are m/s, degree C and percent.

Temp file contains 10-minute water temperature at up to 11 depths.
	Units are degree C.

Rain file contains 10-minute rain rates.
	Units are mm/hr.

Rad file contains 2-min shortwave radiation.
	Units are W/m/m.

Sal file contains 10-minute sea surface salinity.
	Units are psu.

Each data record begins with a time word of yyyyjjjhhmmss where

yyyy = year
jjj = julian date
hh = hour (gmt)
mm = minute
ss = second

Missing or bad data are filled with the value 1e35.

Files have been compressed using the UNIX compress utility.
