program uniplt2k is used to make the sontek plots
 running uniplt2k as below will generate a popfil.dat file
 then type
mypop
 just hit return for ENTER POST-PROCESSOR DIRECTIVES
 this will display the plot on the monitor

mypop ps
 will create a postscript file and send to printer (you need to edit mypop for your printers)

mypop ps "" "" r
 will create a rotated postscript file and send to printer

use a unix utility to convert from postscript to gif if you so choose
