Features which have not yet been implemented in the point-and-click interface are still available via the Script Manager by typing in commands. (The command "CANCEL MODE GUI" from the script manager will transfer control to the terminal window from which ferret was launched. "SET MODE GUI" at the "yes?" prompt will restore control to the GUI.) o No interrupt button has been implemented. o No controls for defining new axes or grids have been implemented. o No controls for the creation and use of color palettes have been implemented. o No controls for resizing and changing the aspect ratios of windows have been implemented. o No controls for defining custom viewports have been implemented. o No controls for customized plot labels or layout have been implemented. o Controls for defining custom contour levels are implemented at a rudimentary level. o No ability to read flat ASCII and binary data files. ============================================================================= Online documentation is available for the GUI version of Ferret as well as a response form for comments/suggestions/bug reports.
