Processing of these files has been moved from a Sun 
to a Linux machine, and hence the compressed tar
files are no longer compressed Z files but gzipped 
gz files. You can uncompress them with 

  gunzip file.gz

These directories contain the latest 14-days of daily data from 
the TAO/TRITON, PIRATA, and RAMA buoy arrays.

Each subdirectory containing data files also contains a 
README file with additional details.

If you use TAO data in publications, please acknowledge the TAO Project
Office, Dr. Michael J. McPhaden, Director.  Also, we would appreciate
receiving a preprint and/or reprint of those publications utilizing
TAO data for inclusion in the TAO bibliography.  These publications
