Subject: Re: Tide Stations

 Hi Misty,

I've attached the 15 minute sampled sea level residuals (predicted tide subtracted) for 14:00 22/12/04 to 13:00 29/12/04 at Port Stanley (PS12004_tsunami.pxflst) and 14:00 22/12/04 to 16:30 29/12/04 for St. Helena (STH2004_tsunami.pxflst). Units are cm.

 Hope that helps.

 Best wishes,

 Simon

 Dear Simon,

Thank you for contacting us. We are interested in any sea level data from all available sources. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide us with data you have collected. The ideal data would be the highest available sampling frequency and span from 12/25/04 ,18:00 UTC to 1/01/05, 0000 UTC.
 Thanks Again,
 Misty

 Dear Misty,

I have been forwarded your email request for data. I have 15 minute tide gauge data from Jamestown, St. Helena 15 55 S 05 43 W and from Port Stanley, Falkland Islands 51 42 S 57 52 W. No data has been properly quality controlled yet, but if you let me know what dates/times you want I can send you what I have, obviously with health warnings attached.

At the Port Stanley there appears to be seiching associated with the tsunami and possibly some (smaller) signal at St. Helena too.

 Best wishes,

 Simon

 Hello,

I am a Researcher at NOAA, PMEL Tsunami Lab, USA. We are currently
looking at tidal data from various tidal stations to better understand

the recent tsunami. Do you know of a UK contact to discuss getting
some information from some of your tide stations.

 Thanks
 Misty M. Watson
